I just upgraded to a Sony STR-DH820 (my first receiver with HDMI) and am having some odd video scaling issues. I have a computer running Windows Media Center hooked up to the receiver by HDMI, with video going out to a Sony widescreen TV also hooked up via HDMI. Unfortunately the video from the computer looks to be scaled up about 120%. If I connect the computer directly to the TV there are no scaling issues. (The computer's display is set to 1920x1080). I also have a blu-ray player hooked up, and it displays perfectly fine. Anyone got any suggestions? I can't find any settings for the receiver that would seem to affect video scaling.

I am not the most educated in the home theater field, but I do know a few things about computers. The only thing that I can recommend checking would be the "External Display" settings on your computer. You should be able to find these setting in the "Display" section of your control panel when an external display is hooked up.
