Why all of the hate for Pierce?

It's not hate for Brosnan; it's just that apart from GoldenEye, the Brosnan Bonds just aren't very good.
No, they're not very good, but whose fault is that? Not the actors' fault. Pierce Brosnan's performances are better than the material he was given to work with. The writing failed him every time, but he never failed to carry each film on his shoulders. He gives leadership to them, sells them, delivers them with impeccable style and grace. Nobody can blame Brosnan for the amateur writing, thoughtless direction and profoundly stupid production decisions. He's a strong, classy Bond and he's the best thing in his films.

I am wondering what I should do at this point. I own the following Bond on BD in bold[/B and the remaining in asterisk I don't have]: 1. Dr. No 2. From Russia with Love 3. Goldfinger 4. Thunderball 5. You Only Live Twice 6. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 7. Diamonds Are Forever 8. Live and Let Die 9. The Man with the Golden Gun 10. The Spy Who Loved Me 11. Moonraker 12. For Your Eyes Only 12.5 Never Say Never Again 13. Octopussy 14. A View to a Kill 15. The Living Daylights 16. Licence to Kill 17. Goldeneye 18. Tomorrow Never Dies 19. The World is Not Enough 20. Die Another Day 21. Casino Royale 22. Quantum of Solace 23. Skyfall Can I get all of the other movies separately on BD? (except Skyfall) I wonder at this point if I should sell the ones I have and go for the Bond 50 collection. If so, where can I find it for the best price?

Just wait for a sale and decide what route you want to go. The Craig titles (not Skyfall) are on sale for $10 each now at Amazon, others are too expensive as is the box set. Cheapest I've seen the box set is $150, cheapest I've seen individuals for is $10, so I think it would be cheaper and easier to just buy the individuals as you find them on sale. Besides if you have the set its now incomplete with the release of Skyfall.

I think I will sit on mine and wait for the Bond 50 to be available for cheaper. Emailed a seller in Ontario and waiting for a reply. Once I buy the Bond 50 I can sell my individual BluRays (except NSNA).

Received The Living Daylights as a Christmas offering, bringing my total Bond DVD-ship to: DVD: UCE Volumes 1-4, containing Dr. No thru Die Another Day; Die Another Day SE with special materials not in UCE Blu: Dr. No (separate purchase) From Russia With Love (in Volume 2) Goldfinger (in Volume 3) Thunderball (in Volume 2) The Spy Who Loved Me (separate purchase from Best Buy) Moonraker (in Volume 3) For Your Eyes Only (in Volume 2) Never Say Never Again (separate purchase as soon as it was available - disc apparently OOP now...) The Living Daylights (separate purchase) The World is Not Enough (in Volumeinve 3) Casino Royale (Collector's Edition 2-disc set) Quantum of Solace (regular Blu-ray, awaiting more in-depth release for 100th Anniversary in 2108) Skyfall (Blu-ray on pre-order, received DVD screener for Awards consideration) Don't feel any need to pick up the other titles at this point, particularly as I have the UCE editions anyway. In retrospect, the full Blu Bond 50 set would only have made sense had I not already invested in all the Blus I already have. I just don't watch the other Bonds very often.

I have the UK Blu set. All are region free except the last film (Quantum of Solace). The last film and the new Skyfall on the Amazon UK are region B. Here in Munich at Müller (and I assume all their stores in Germany) are all the separate Bond BRs for 10 Euros each OR 4 for the price of 3. They are all region B. For the Bond BR box I wish the box was the size of the SD box or perhaps 2 boxes.

The individual Bond titles now seem to be available in the UK, but they're too expensive (£14 or there about). I don't know how it works in the States, but in the UK you just have to wait a month or two & the price drops. I should be able to get the titles I want in a two for £12 deal soon. HMV are selling some titles very cheaply, £4.99 each for Doctor No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, a couple of Roger Moore's & Die Another Day. I bought From Russia With Love, I still think it's the best one, & it's a lovely transfer.

I believe the individual releases are now available here in the US, outside of the store exclusives. Meaning that the exclusives were only for about 4 months or so.
