Oh man, I love white marshJason Charlton said:Looks great, Sam! Congratulations. I'm not too far south from you - off of Belair Rd, north of the White Marsh mall. You're welcome to stop by anytime!
I would never want you to suffer an identity crisis, Sam.Originally Posted by Sam Posten /t/302371/so-aberdeen-maryland/60#post_3913083
I guess. I will still spend a lot of time up there plus it's become my identity, being @navesink on twitter and www.navesink.net blogging...
Maybe I will put both in there =)
You rock! That is the most ridiculously awesome thing I've seen for a home!Originally Posted by Sam Posten /t/302371/so-aberdeen-maryland/60#post_3912983
My home closing was Friday and I spent my first night there last night. I have little furniture so far but I made do with a few pillows and two sleeping bags.

TVs shrink when you bring them home. It's a poorly understood but well documented phenomenon.Originally Posted by Sam Posten /t/302371/so-aberdeen-maryland/60#post_3913140
That train has sailed =p
TV #1 hung, #sportscenter is go! Bluray and game systems will have to wait a few weeks tho. Still no couches, so it's not the most comfortable of TV set ups.
Shocked at how small 55" set looks on the wall, you can see the plug behind it in this pic, it's centered for a 65" set to go on it with room for my TV stand, but no 65" bought yet, waiting for prices to come down as new 2012 models ship. Good news is there is plenty of wall space for me to hang some of my favorite photos.

Haha, I was not familiar with that strange freak of nature, will keep that in mind for the future.DaveF said:TVs shrink when you bring them home. It's a poorly understood but well documented phenomenon.

Is that your home's data wiring? If so, I may need to talk to you about home wiring in the next month or two.
I have to be blocks from you - just off Buck's Schoolhouse Road. I am sensing a White Marsh HTF meetup....and as Sam suggests the 'ol Tilted Kilt is as sweet a spot as any.Originally Posted by Jason Charlton /t/302371/so-aberdeen-maryland/60#post_3912987

Whole house audio and ethernet is standard?Originally Posted by Sam Posten /t/302371/so-aberdeen-maryland/60#post_3913302

Yes, that is my home's central nervous center. I have whole home audio (pulling from 3 sources each in a different room), ethernet to every bedroom and the family room, and Fios pumped to all of them as well. It is a feature Ryan puts in every new home, I customized mine a bit but every house comes with ether and cable jacks standard. The motion sensors and smoke / CO alarms are also tied into it. They are also required by law now to have a sprinkler system (in the home not the yard!).
