Small wall-mountable speaker / receiver help please! (1 Viewer)

OK.

I know this topic has been done to death. And I have done an extensive search on the forums for other threads...but none really answer my question completely.

I recently purchased a 42" edtv panasonic plasma.

My lady insists that the speakers I get for them look nice and are small. Wall-mountable. And they should match the matte black of the plasma tv. We want to mount them on the walls and have the wires hidden behind the walls of course.

I would love at least a 5.1 setup. We need to get a receiver for it too. The budget is anything under $1500 or so. If it is kickass and a little over, we can swing it. I'm loooking for the entire speaker/receiver package.

Any suggestions? And any good vendors to get them from?

I've also been looking at Jamo speakers too...they don't seem too bad!

But waht kind of receiver would i have to get?

Jamo is good stuff. If you like them, go for it!

Receiver-wise, lots of choices. $400 gets you the Pioneer 1014 which is really popular here (GREAT value). That would also give you $1100 for speakers!
