Hello,

Thanks to everyone who gave input for "Subwoofer Cable" post.
I have wired the sub going out from Yamaha low frequency into sub mono using THX subwoofer cable.
My Test pattern does not include sub and I was wondering how to adjust the sub for optimal movie experience.
The sub has a Min-Max knob and a switch with 60, 80 and 100 as options.
I do have the Radio Shack decibel reader but don't know how to match levels without a Test pattern.
Any DVD's I can use? (I have a fairly large collection)
Or should I adjust it using personal feeling?
The sub is definitely working, I played the scene from Jurassic Park where T-Rex first shows up in rain storm.

Thanks again,
Zak

Avia or Video Essentials DVD's are the best. Sound and Vision has a version or two, and are cheaper, possibly as good as the others. (Based on features - all 3 do the same, more or less.)

See if you can rent them...

OR grab your copy of Terminator 2 and use the THX optimizer included:)

That was way too easy:D
