Seperate amp for Bass Shakers? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for bass shakers to add to my HT and was wondering if they require a seperate amp? Also I have yet to find a retailer for these shakers, anyone know where I could purchase them on the net.THX

Yes, you need a seperate amp that will output 25W @4Ohms. Any old stereo receiver should work fine. Mine are powered by an old Realistic receiver and they rumble the hell out of my recliner.

You can usually find Bass Shakers on Ebay, and sometimes on Ubid. I bought a pair on Ubid for $30 (including shipping).
