"These pretzels are making me thirsty"
I'll BUY them all!
I think the important question is will the DVDs come with a Nutria fur hat, or will I have to go to Bob Sackamanaw in Battery Park to get one
I was wondering about DVD promation tie-ins as well. Maybe with Jr Mints? They are quite refreshing!
This'll make a great Festivus gift.
And now it's time for the recitation of grievances.
It's a Festivus Miracle!!
I'll add that I was a huge fan of the show. If you were familiar with the characters, the final episode was just one consecutive laugh after another. I literally hurt when it was over...
The content of your spoiler comment above was the highlight of a final episode that was really too all over the place to be good. But that very brilliant ending was enough to satisfy me. To see that after all those years, these characters haven't grown one bit. I don't think a lot of fans got that message, which you don't really have to be a detective to understand. The joke was on us and I know I at least got it.
Can't wait for these sets.
Re: last episode...
I love when George admits that he cheated at the contest.
Next up the Pillars of Strength
"Nutria is a kind of sable"
"No, it's a kind of rat"
Brenton, better spoiler-tag that one for people like Ron who haven't seen the Finale.
As for seasons 8-9, these didn't exactly have that Seinfeld/Larry David magic but despite that, they are great. Without them we wouldn't have the Serenity Now and Festivus catchphrases. Exactly what date does Festivus occur again?
BRENTON - Please spoiler tag that. There are Seinfeld Marla's in this thread.
I guess you're not spongeworthy then.
I'm assuming that the respected Jackie Chiles did the legal clearances for these sets.
Exactly. I think it took a lot of balls for them to put the characters in perspective and finally punish them.
I also imagine that you have to live in a Northeast city to really get some of the jokes (I'm not being pretentious, but there is so much in the show about city life/culture).
Yes! That was gold.
