International Second Sight DVD (1 Viewer)

Thought I'd start off with Second Sight's DVD release of the Austrailian film Lake Mungo (2008), which is being released on Monday 25th July. It's one of a few films which I've wanted to see for ages. Has anyone here got the Region 4 version?

The BBFC passed the Tim Matheson TV movie Buried Alive (1990) back in March:

No UK release date yet for this title and another forthcoming title The Guardian (1990), which was passed by the BBFC just over two weeks ago:

This was one of the first films Carey Lowell filmed after the Bond film Licence to Kill.

One of Second Sight's titles I highly recommend is their release of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975).

8 Million Ways To Die



The BBFC a week ago passed the film 8 Million Ways to Die (1986) (starring Jeff Bridges). Second Sight are listed as the distributor. The UK release date is Monday 12th September (source: Play.com). The front cover artwork is good, but I would have preferred the CBS FOX video artwork (seen on the film's main IMDb page).

It has been released on DVD in Spain (read about this in a thread on the IMDb forum for the film, and there's a listing on Play.com for the Spanish DVD release).

They (Second Sight) have been releasing films from different genres for a while now. One of their titles I would highly recommend is Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975).
