seamless layer change player? (1 Viewer)

Please forgive me if this has been covered before, but I could not find any reference to it. Is there a DVD player on the market that does a seamless layer change? By that, I mean no freezing of the picture at all. It seems that, for this to happen, there would have to be some sort of a memory buffer in the unit that could hold enough data to hide the layer change. Thanks in advance for any info!

The Denon DVD-2900 is the only player (tested to date) that scored a perfect 0 second layer change on Secrets DVD Shootout.

I have an older (no longer made) Samsung progressive scan player. I've never noticed a layer change with this player. Sorry, I don't remember the model number off the top of my head.

The Denon 2200's layer change is just as fast as the 2900, invisible. They both have 8MB buffers for smooth layer changes.

I'll also say I haven't seen a layer change, pause or such on my Denon 2200.
