Is there any way besides reducing image size/moving further back to reduce the SDE. I am 13 ft back on a screen that is 6 feet wide. I see SDE in Nemo's eye, in Hoth (Empire SB), any lighter scenes...real annoying.

BTW...I have the Infocus 4805.

I believe another option would be buying a projector with higher resolution. :) (BTW I have the same projector)

You're sitting over 2X screen width back, which for most people has been sufficient. You might try a slight defocus of the lens, another common remedy.

Try a slight defocus. I do this with my Panny 200u and only rarely at 9' from my 85" screen do I see it and the back row at 12', it's not noticeable at all.
