Part of what makes the character work so well is that she's a counter to the personalities of the other characters. Unlike Hot Doc, who was pretty much a female Cox without the heart for Turk, Dr. Clock indulges more in J.D. level quirkiness. She's more like a cross between the way J.D. and Eliot were during the first season.

I can't believe Carla did that to Rowdy. 'Dems grounds for divorce.

The janitor's squirrel army was pretty funny.
The Todd scenes always make me laugh.

Good episode last night. I think my favorite thing about "Scrubs" are the little asides from characters. Like the follow up to the dream sequence where Rowdy attacks Carla; that made me laugh but I got a bigger laugh from J.D saying "no Rowdy, she's not worth it".

I thought last nights episode seemed a little bit off, almost like a new writer trying to fit the "Scrubs" style, but not quite hitting the bullseye. It still had some good moments though.

    Regards,

I think it was how little J.D./Turk interaction there was. I agree the pacing was off from the first two super-oiled episodes.

That said, I thought it was dramatically more satisfying. J.D.'s arc about not killing somebody was darkly hilarious but also sort of moving. Molly waiting with Eliot for the heroin adict to come for rehab was great.

Dr. Cox's speech to J.D.'s residents was classic Cox, miserable, caustic, but still on-target. I also loved the Janitor's squirrel army. Considering PETA and its ilk, I'm surprised they got away with the squirrel grabbing in the park.

Carla was also classic Carla; bossy to Turk but still working hard at something when she knows it means alot to him.

Turk noticing that it was smaller at the end was great, too[IMG]

Anyone else disappointed that they didn't show Elliot and Molly making out? [IMG]

I liked how all three times they mentioned it, Todd popped out of nowhere and asked if he heard something.

Cox's "speech" to the interns was funny as hell.

The squirrel army was disturbing and funny at the same time.

I watched this before work this morning, and thought it was fast-moving, zany, funny and had enough of a "dramatic" payoff to be an overall satisfying episode.

Seeing Carla and the Janitor trade jabs/observations was pretty funny.

    I have a feeling he'll be back.
And did anyone watch the Emmy's the other night? For best writing in a comedy series, they let each writing team write short pre-taped skits showing them plying their trade. The 2 guys from Scrubs had the best one; they were both on the same Scooter (the ones J.D and Turk bought) going over a script and laughing to each other. I forget what song was playing but it was perfect.

I love the blurb that someone posted from Zach. Boy is he funny.

I enjoyed Tuesdays episode. Loved the insecurity scene between Molly and Elliot(Eyebrows),the Rowdy storyline and the squirrel army.

    No.

Great song at the end. Coincidence that it is on the Garden State Sountrack?

That was hilarious. This is actually one of the first times I've ever watched Scrubs and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the bizzare, surrealistic humor mixed with the realistic humor. Highlights

-J.D.'s pratfall during his "I'm feeling so good today" song
-The cut away with Elliot making out with the psycho
    -The Smurf lingo

Best episode of the season so far.

"Turk, you just got schooled on rap by the two whitest girls in the state"

"None of you can prove it"

Queue J.D. whipping out his tape recorder and pressing play.

Also nice to see Kelso getting in on some prankage instead of being a blowhard the entire episode.

    Uber High-Larious!

    Favorite moment -

"Where did you get that stupid idea?"

(enter Turk sliding in - hitting tape recorder) "Dude,

    I love your tape recorder!"

The look on their faces was priceless...
