# 11 was one of the few I got both right away. I knew On Golden Pond instantly, as that was a very memorable scene for me, and I had no idea on Bring it on, but once I had On Golden Pond, the first movie that popped in my head that ended in "On" was Bring it On and the screenshot seemed to fit my hazy memories of that movie.

I think I got the finale...

Uh, well that would be me...I've seen Bring It On, but the scenes with Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku and Gabrielle Union seem to have stayed with me longer. Don't know why...:)

My other excuse for totally missing this one is that I haven't seen On Golden Pond and for some reason I thought that was Jack Lemmon in the boat. That led to Grumpy Old Men and I couldn't get it out of my head. So much so that even when Jon posted the clue about the two Hollywood icons, I completely glossed over the information about them never working together before...

I don't recognize any of the final 3 shots right off, so I'm gonna have to work at this...

So...for you Grumpy Old Men guessers - did you really think that was Walter Matthau snuggling up between Jack Lemmon's knees?? :D

Sure Bob, Kirsten and Eliza, not to mention Clare Kramer, in bikinis and soaking wet is pretty memorable. Still, that scene in the shot is freaking hilarious.

I know, they weren't actually soaking wet. A guy can dream

Bob, Jon might be referring to me as one of the other Grumpy Old Men guessers, but I wasn't. Pre-clue, I guessed Grumpier Old Men. That of course did not lead me to Bring It On, which I've never seen. I guess I have to see it now.

The Clues:

12A:
Another movie that was turned into a television series. The title of the TV show is the first word only of the film title.

12B: The well-known actor who plays a psychiatrist in this movie has also played (in movies and/or on TV): a professor, a senator, a doctor, a detective, the president, a colonel, a writer, and a quadriplegic.

12C: Yet another (short-lived) television series was made based on this film. In this film's cast was a 10-year-old who went on to become a respected actor and director. Oh yeah…she also appears in one of the other two films included in this round.

Answers and final standings tomorrow morning.

Jon

Edited to clarify 12C

Wait... she was in the TV show or in 12C?

I am totally drawing a blank on all three of these :frowning:

She was in 12C, and 12A OR 12B.

The TV show was based on the movie, and "she" was not in the TV show.

I now see I worded that poorly.

#12 answer: What About Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

(note: I think I messed up the clue to 12C. To clarify: The actress is Jodie Foster. She was in the movie version of Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and in the TV version of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. Sorry about that.)
