I am sooooo getting this movie on Blu-ray, when it comes out next Tuesday, along with Black Ops for the Xbox 360.


It should be a good week for home entertainment.

Best movie I've seen this year (so far)

Of course, my reply here is not a contest entry.


This film was the most fun I have had at the movies

all year. I am looking forward to seeing it again at

home on Blu-ray. It looks like the type of film that

will shine on that format.

I would like to see the alternate ending.

I would as well though its director, Edgar Wright,

made an effort during the press event to tell his

audience that the original ending is the one that

he prefers. In fact, he did not want any advertising

on the Blu-ray or DVD cover about the alternate

ending just in case fans got confused that it was

an ending that he preferred.

I saw this in the theatres but was tainted a bit by the reviews which were saying this is essentially the 2nd coming. I enjoyed it for sure but had no choice but to be let down. I look forward to giving it another viewing now that the hype has died off a bit.

I didn't get a chance to see this in the theater but I thought it looked like great fun. Its a shame it didn't perform better at the box office but I expect it will find its audience on dvd. Its also nice to see a film set in Toronto for a change and not New York or L.A. like every other movie out there.

Sounds awesome! Being one of those who rarely get around to seeing movies during their big screen theatrical runs anymore (and thus don't pay as much attention to what's out in theaters), I completely missed this one before and only found out about it via recent PRs and reviews for the imminent BD. Sounds like a great, release week blind-buy for me, if I don't win a copy from this contest.
