Great coverage! Wish I was there! Saw Scott Pilgrim in the theatre twice and my friends and I really enjoyed it. It's so different and unlike any other films, not the same old junk. When another friend asked what it was about, it was very hard to define it. I said it's a Sci- fi, Rock And Roll, Romantic Comedy. I'd really like to own the Blu-Ray and play it on my home theatre system, this would be great so I could show my friends who didn't get to see it at the theatre. I really hope I can win a copy. If not, I'll probably buy it. Thank you!

This was one of my favorite films of 2010... and to my surprise, it was one of my wife's favorite movies as well. HTF's coverage of the press event is fantastic... thanks for posting it.

The blu-ray release has really crept up on me. This is a must-own disc.

Lastly, and this may not be a topic suitable for a thread about the Press Event surrounding the release of the BD, but it needs to be raised. Much coverage of the BD I've read elsewhere online has downgraded the BD's PQ rating based on what is considered an overly muted color palette. However, I have a really strong memory of what I saw in the theater, and 'Speed Racer' this *wasn't.* The muted, low-fi indie aesthetic was entirely intentional and, with the exception of a few really dazzling standouts (hair color and a few of the fight effects being the prominent ones), stayed pretty consistent throughout. I think the colorful directing and the snappy pace of the film left some people with a false impression that 'Scott Pilgrim's theatrical presentation was a candy colored confection. Simply not true.

Thanks for your comments. While our official review is still on the way I can say that I watched this on a 120+" screen and I thought it looked fantastic. Is there a muted color palette? Yes, but thats the way its supposed to be. This movie just getts better with repeat viewings.

These events sound spectacular. I'm jealous of those who get to participate.

I haven't seen the movie yet but will probably get the Blu-ray. I started reading the graphic novel last night and it seems really fun and cute.

One of the better comic to movie productions I've seen in awhile. Well done.

I really liked the movie although I have to say that the ending was anti-climatic. I would like to see the alternate ending.
