Rounded brace edges? (1 Viewer)

Can someone please tell me why people are rounding over the the edges of their braces. I was never really noticed it until today, but it seems like a lot of projects have this done?

I think its along the same lines as flaring a port, it sort of facilitates air movement without noise inside the sub? Then again, maybe its just audio nuts obsessing over their projects. Which I also intend to do with my bracing.

Because it takes allot more work and special skills, all to show off things no one will see, very zen!
Actually there is allot of air movement that can cause diffraction that can effect the sound. This is also the reason for the dampening material.
