While I freely admit that I am an elitist snob, I also have never been a particularly big fan of the horror genre. I know that my opinion is a rare one here at the forum, but I've just never seen the appeal. I think the last film in the Jason series that I've seen was the one where a young Corey Feldman shaves his head. (Somewhere out there in front of a shiny computer monitor, some splatter fan just recited the title to himself.)

I own the original Night of the Living Dead, Halloween, Christine, The Thing, the Evil Dead films, and Ghost Story. I also own Tremors and Jaws, but I've never felt that they were "horror". That feels like right amount of horror for my collection. Your mileage may vary.
