I am fairly internet savvy IMO...but I am having the most difficult time trying to find a universal ceiling mount for a projector that can rotate 360 degrees (180 in each direction) and tilt up and down by remote control.
I have to project on two different screens at different heights/distances and am tired of pulling out the 8 foot ladder and manually doing this.
Seems like a product that should be a available...
Any recommendations?

Using "motorized rotating projector mount" in this new search engine called Google, it is really neat...

First two, while universal and rotates do not offer the required tilt feature.
Last one offers both tilt and rotation, but is proprietary to the Sharp projectors…I have a Canon.
Found both those in this fancy Altavista search engine already….

Anyone found one that meets all three requirements?
Thanks bunches :D

Welcome to the forum Gary :)
Is there any way at all that you can mount your screens at the same height and eliminate the need for tilt all togeather? Using keystone correction is not really preferred anyway...

I wish that I could and that would save me tons of headaches, but one is a SmartBoard on a moving stand to roll in and out (sitting about 3 feet off the floor) and the other one is a fixed 144x96 inch screen hanging from a 15 foot ceiling. I cannot get the SmartBoard high enough nor the screen low enough at the same tilt no matter where in the room I place the SmartBoard.
A telescoping mount one might work, but I don’t feel like dropping a 1000 dollars on a ‘hope’ for my problem if it does not work.

Yeah, the "telescope" was my cure for the tilt...
How "cheap" were you expecting this mount to be anyway?
You might have to DIY one yourself by mounting a motorized tilt to a motorized swivel. I asked around(I design "weird stuff" for a living) and nobody has done this...
And I'd know. I once designed a mount for a 60" plasma that rises up the wall, shoots out a window to the adjoining patio, rotates 180 degrees to be seen outside.

How that "lift" works was the basis for how I got a TV to go from being "in the house" to being "outside the house".
