The last eleven episodes start tonight at 8 pm. This could be the end if the show dosen't get the 2.0 rating David Kemper said it needs, so don't forget to tune in.
Also, Farscape World posted a transcript of last night's Scifi.com chat with David Kemper and Ben Browder. Good stuff, especially the movie script part. :)

The cliffhanger aired on bbc2 here last monday week and it too was to be continued.

Good show.

Hope SciFi get their collective heads out of their rear-ends and treat this show like it deserves.

As I have said dozens of times in other threads. The problem has NOTHING to do with SciFi not wanting to make Farscape

It simply has to do with MONEY. They DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THE INCREASED COST OF THE SHOW! It's budgeted! It's gone!

If they can pull that 2.0 they can probably float a loan or something to keep it going

Sci-Fi has money for Taken, and money for SG1 (which also got more expensive, just like Farscape).
At this point, if Farscape resumes production it will be in the next fiscal year. Hell, realistically, it probably wouldn't resume production before late 2003 at the earliest. So it might even be in fiscal 2004.
They will have the money in the budget, the question is only whether they will spend it on Farscape or on something else.
But what they really want to spend money on is stuff that they have real ownership of, like the new Tremors series (shudder). That and dramality crap. With Farscape, the only thing they 'own' are the US television rights for the next few years.

Yeah, but if you see it, talk about it, and get excited, you might eventually entice a person in a Nielsen household.

And, hey, the other way to take that is to tune in anyway, since it's good stuff and there's probably not not much more coming.

Like the "dream analysis", "Crossing Over" shows?
Perhaps we should make a point of (once again) e-mailing SCI-FI channel, along with our local cable TV/satellite providers.
If we aren't in the Nielsen numbers we should still make an effort to "Stand up and be counted"!
