I recently bought my wife a digital camera (Canon A75) that is powered by AA batteries. After what seemed like just a couple hours of use the camera is already showing that the batteries are low. I figure I'll buy rechargeables as opposed to buying AA by the boatload . A couple of questions: 1 - Are rechargeables the way to go? It does seem that over the long run they will be better. 2 - I've seen some chargers that say they can do the charge in as little as an hour (maybe even 15 minutes) to as much as 15-16 hours. What is the difference in quality between these? I know there are other issues - memory and discharging being a couple - but I hope this is enough to help me make a decision. Thanks for your help!
