It is a shame and something I figured would eventually be corrected with additional box-set volumes. Spencer Tracy is another star, in addition to everyone you mentioned, whose early '30s films (the Fox years) are dearly missed on home video. I wish a Tracy set, like the Power one, had slipped out before the lights dimmed at Fox's classics division.

From the Warner perspective, it looks like all those films are doomed to the archive and non-restoration, and that's a shame. You lose a sense of film history and the star's development if you ignore those 30s films. You also miss some fun entertainment, as a lot are pretty good.
