Question on onkyo TX-SR606 (1 Viewer)

I found a deal on one on craigslist for 150 in my area just wondering if this was a decent receiver as this will he my first one and ill use it for a few years also probably

The X06 Onkyo had a habit of frying HDMI boards. But, if it still works.

I would assume the seller can demo it before cash changes hands.If not...don't buy it.

I think what Sam is suggesting is to make sure it will pass an HDMI input signal cleanly. Just because it turns on doesn't mean everything works.

I would bring a blu-ray player and two HDMI cables with you to be sure you can test what you want.
