im new to home theater, and im looking for a small system for a bedroom.

im thinking about these 2 denon receivers (1611 or 591) to use with my energy take 5 speakers.
the 591 is about 40 dollars cheaper than the 1611. i do not plan on going 7.1, well at least not for a few years.

my question is, is the 1611 worth the extra 40 dollars?

thanks

Here's a product comparison on the Denon website.

There isn't much difference, really.

In fact, the 591 offers analog to HDMI upconversion, which is a nice feature if you have a Wii.

I don't see much of a reason to go with the 1611. The differences are minor and do not affect my viewing/listening habits.
