There are a lot of Warner Brothers 80's and early 90's action movies that I want, but I haven't got because the DVD's were released in 1997 & 1998. Movies like "Cobra", "Tango and Cash", "Last Boy Scout", "Assassins", "The Specialist", etc. I've been holding off on buying them ever since I've bought my first DVD player in 1999, hoping they would be re-released in special editions (and anamorphic for the ones that weren't). They are getting so cheap to buy, that I'm tempted to get them. How are the quality of the existing DVD's? For the Stallone movies, should I wait for them to cash in on Stallone's renewed popularity? If the quality is good, I'll go ahead and buy the old ones. Thanks.

alot of those movies have been released as warner double and triple features. go to Link Removed and type in the titles to see the multiple releases. They will tell you if they are full screen, but won't say if they are anamorphic...but its a place to start.
