Projectors and Distance (1 Viewer)

I am currenly layout my plan for my HT. I am reviewing projectors and would like to know which projectors on the market are ideal for mounting at least 19 feet away from a screen. I have room for a 100" screen. Any Advice

I pulled up this quick search at projectorcentral on units that can achieve 100" from 19'...

You're going to find that due the cost of optics, most projectors with that type of throw are in the higher price ranges. If you can afford that great, you'll also like the performance of a more expensive unit. If you are just designing your theater now you may save yourself some loot by choosing a different projector spot.

Well, for digital projectors, grey-type screens help boost black levels. But you really need to tell us what projector you are looking at before anyone can offer decent suggestions.
