About six months ago, my 10 year old VCR gave up the ghost. So I bought a new Panasonic - nothing fancy. As I was looking at my VHS library this weekend, I noticed the new VCR wouldn't accept a handful of tapes I made. Mind you, these tapes played fine in a circa 1989 VCR I have.
Any reason why a tape would play in one VCR and not the other? Any idea for a work around? I really only need to view a few of these tapes one more time when I transfer them to a recordable DVD. Any ideas would be appreicated.
Thanks.
