Problem with dvd payer or dvd disc (1 Viewer)

I have a Yamaha DVD C750 player and use it for all video and music sources. I just watched the "Chronicles of Narnia" dvd and noticed some pretty severe video distortion. It didn't happen until the battle sequince and came and went through the rest of the movie. I would describe it as horizontal distortion, or signal break-up, in the upper part of the video. At first I thought maybe My sub was causing a vibration problem, but I watched with the volume muted with the same results. I even noticed it when I watched in reverse. I've never had a problem with any other dvd or cd. Can anyone help ? Thanks

Maybe you have a bad disc. Try that same disc on a buddies system.
