problem with chat (1 Viewer)

When in the chat tonight, every time I tried to "yo" I got the "Error: cannot send to moderated chat" message.
I'm a new member, but I thought I joined in time to participate in the chat tonight.

You have to wait until the channel is open to YO. The instructions aren't perfectly clear... the channel is closed during the chat, and every 10-15 minutes Ron will open the channel and allow everyone to YO in at that time.
He will say something like:
"If you would like to ask a question this round, Type YO now"
At which time you can type YO. The first 5-10 people to YO are chosen, and then the channel is locked again. Only the guests and the person asking the question can post to the chat room.
After the 5-10 questions are asked, Ron opens the room again to "YO's" and it starts again. You can only post to the room if ron opens it to YO's, or if the moderator gives you a voice to ask your question.
