But on a more serious note, I pulled out an old VHS copy just out of curiosity, and the blur is there. I'm thinking that this may have just been a little censoring of some accidental genitalia. My personal guess on this one is much like the episode of Three's Company where John Ritter flops out of his shorts - something that wasn't immediately noticed, but smudged out after someone noticed it after the film was done (maybe during test screenings?)
