Ron,
I'm a bit confused. Unless I missed something, there is only one question and it asks what your favorite scene is across both movies. This has nothing to do with the American Pie II DVD, does it?
I'm also a little irritated that Universal asked you to post this when it seems like they've wanted nothing to do with this forum for the last few years. So, Home Theater Forum can help them with their poll, but then they don't want to chat or get feedback with their many product problems? Universal has quickly become one of the most consumer unfriendly studios in the past year. This should be a two way street proposition, not a one way road for Universal to glean information and turn their backs on HTF for the next few years once again. Just my $0.02.

Except it appeared to me that you could only vote for one scene out of the eight choices over both movies.
And their site says it's a chance to determine the content of their American Pie II DVD? They say the poll results will be on the disc, but are they planning something different with the winning scene? This "poll" seems rather insignificant.

Gentlemen,
I understand your concern regarding Universal
Home Video. I also appreciate your support in
regards to you feeling that they have not had
this forum's best interests in heart.
I can tell you two things that will change your
opinion of Universal Home Video as it has done
mine this past week....
First, Universal hasn't done anything more or less
with any other forum in regards to chats or even
interviews.
Second, we are about to announce a MAJOR chat
with TALENT. This chat was arranged through
Universal Home Video.
I felt that since they are actually the FIRST
studio to arrange celebrity talent for our live chat
that this forum should go out of their way to
do something in return for Universal.
They asked me to have our members participate in
their poll. It was the least I could do for a
studio that just did something wonderful for us.
You'll know more early next week.

Thanks for the information that clears up your position on our concerns with Universal "using" the forum but not reciprocating.
These new developments with Universal will be interesting.
I hope they are reading this thread because I think I speak for everyone when I say that we want a chat with Universal Home Video DVD.

I'd love to vote but..
since all scenes are censored with beeps, i think most of the fun is getting missed, and i feel it pointless to even vote. Dont get me wrong here (i know America censors for strong language).
These 2 movies (which are darn funny) deserves to be show'd as they "where" made.
Then again..
i bet theres a un-rated version of American Pie 2 commin, as it was for American Pie 1

it's ot but I didn't want to open a new thread for this: has anyone at Universal ever come back to you with what their current situation is on the BTTF-trilogy-with- donations-for-Michael J. Fox-fund-idea a fellow htf member came up with earlier this year? Back then it sounded like something was moving at Universal in this regard because they liked the idea. Nothing has been heard since (at least not by me).
