Please read this carefully before responding.

Kino just made a deal with Paramount to release their catalog titles to Blu-ray that have not already been released on DVD.

This means that all of Paramount's previously released catalog titles to DVD are still going to remain unreleased for now.

We would like to compile a list of titles that HTF members would most like to see Paramount release -- especially from the 60s and 70s era.

These would be titles already available on DVD that would not be covered by the Kino deal.

The idea is for us to compile this list and send it to the studio for consideration, letting them know what collectors would most like to see released.

We don't know if this list will influence Paramount, but it should give them an idea of how to prioritize if they decide to proceed.

Please simply list a few of your most wanted titles. If someone else has posted the title, please post it again. The more times a title is mentioned, obviously the more popular.

Again, these are only titles that have been previously been released to DVD, not covered in the Kino deal.

Just seeking clarification on this - is the point of this thread that Paramount has no current plans to release catalog titles outside of the Kino deal and these lists are to encourage them to do so?

Here are my Top 5 titles I would purchase:

The Elephant Man (1980)
Hud (1963)
The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1944)
Roman Holiday (1953)
The Tenant (1976)

And I'd also purchase the following:

9/11 (2002) - Likely shot on SD video, but would be worth it just to get properly 16x9
Addams Family Values (1993)
Breakdown (1997)
Bringing Out the Dead (1999)
The Court Jester (1955)
The Four Feathers (2002)
Hondo 3D (1953)
Paper Moon (1973)
Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993)
Targets (1968)
Track of the Cat (1954)
Trekkies (1997)
The Virgin Suicides (1999) - May be with American Zoetrope

Paramount also has the rights to the following DreamWorks titles I would purchase:

Match Point (2005)
Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004)
