Pioneer DV-45A play DVD+R's??? (1 Viewer)

HI Gang;

Thinking about gettin a DVD Burner.

Was wondering if the DV-45A supports DVD+R or DVD-R ?

Any help appreciated.

Hey Chis,

I have a 45A and it plays both, including RWs.

Plays anything you can throw at it, pretty much.

Take a look at Secret's of HT's progressive shootout. This player scored the lowest of all players tested... I would highly recommend considering another player.

Chris,

Take this Secrets of Home Theater stuff with a grain of salt. There are several members on this forum and on avsforum.com who have never seend this chroma bug on their DV45A's. Granted, it may not be the best picture on the block, but it's certainly not the worst either. For the price that you can pick up a DV45A, it would be hard to beat it considering all the formats it will play.

This player did not fail just the CUE test, it failed over 50% of their tests. Regardless of CUE, this is not a good indicator to me.

Unfortunately or Fortunately (depending on thread

I have already owned the DV 45A for some time now,but just upgraded to a DVD Burner lately,and my question was only pertaining to which burned formats it will read.

I should have been more specific-my bad.

The latest is that a burned DVD+RW Failed,but the two +R's I used tonight passed with flyin colors.

I bought the 45A more for SACD and DVDA that the video portion.
