As someone who loves both Philip K. Dick and Richard Linklatter, I am really excited about this project. A Scanner Darkly is probably my favourite of PKD's books.

I also am a fan of K Dick. Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall are all in my most cherished movies. What is Scanner Darkly about? (just give me a couple of words without giving away the plot, like Memory Loss, Time Travel, or Robots)

Paranoia, drugs, identity.

It also has some of the funniest passages in all of PKD. The trailer makes it look faithful to the source, which would be really refreshing.

I saw the trailer for this on the Constantine DVD. I have been anticipating it since. Looks really interesting. I've actually never read this book, but I have read PKD before, and I love everything I've read.

too bad that commercial for the insurance co has to be on tv so much.
i cant leave it on for more then a few seconds before i turn it.
