About a year ago I read a post by Martin Blythe of Paramount. The post said at that point they had no plans for the Star Trek:Animated Series on dvd. I was just wondering if their has been anything new about a possible release.

That is really disapointing. That was a great series and was a continuation of the original series! They need to be preserved on DVD.

I would really like to see the animated series on DVD. I have more interest in this then I do DS9 or Voyager.

I would really like to see this series come to dvd.
I have an 8 year old son who has started to enjoy TOS on the remastered discs. I have told him about the animated series and would love for him to see the series.
Please try to see if there is a way to consider this series for a future release.
    Thanks for your help.

Although I too would like the animated series, I am too happy about TNG coming soon (and in box sets) to be too upset about this not coming soon.
