Existing owners: Look for an email allowing you to upgrade for $30 off, only $19!!!!
I have two licenses and when I tried to buy it only took the $30 off once, I am going to call the 877 number to see if I can upgrade both for $19 each, that would rock.

OK, here's the deal. The $19 price is ONLY for those who got copies in the Mac Super Bundle.
One of my licenses came from that, one did not. So I am eligible for only one $19 upgrade and one $49 upgrade, bit on both tho I was a bit pissed off that sales guy this morning told me I was eligible for the price on both of them. Should have stayed with him on the phone, he told me their systems were acting slow and he could do it but it would take a long time, that I would have better luck to call back this afternoon when it was all straightened out =(
Oh well.
Anywho, the Moss loves it!

is it faster in general Windows operation, startup and shutdown and launching applications? does it feel more efficient and RAM usage? Or is it just more 3-D acceleration?

If it's basically a faster and leaner feeling application, all upgrade on my wife's iMac.

All the above, better lion integration, and better memory usage (works GREAT on my 4GB Macbook Air, and it was a slog on 4GB back when I only had that much on my MBP.)
Bottom line: It's a no brainer upgrade.

P7 was already part of the last MacUpdate bundle. I got it because for a while there I planned to virtualize Mountain Lion.

Does one get all the update benefits with these bundled purchases
or just the initial version number they purchased?

When they release Parallels 8, you'll have to pay an upgrade price. Still cheaper than buying a new copy. If you buy P7 really close to the P8 release, I suspect your upgrade will be free, but do not know for certain.
In my case, I had Parallels 6, and I bought the MacUpdate bundle for $50 and got P7--the same price as what Parallels was asking for the P7 upgrade.

Steve,

No, I understand that. I should have been more specific with my question.

The incremental updates is what I was concerned with. Such as Parallels
7.01 -> 7.02 -> 7.03

I understand the major upgrades will incur an upgrade fee.

Sounds like, from your answer, all incremental updates are included.

Not bad for anyone looking for Parallels at a $30 savings. I have Parallels
and I think it ROCKS.

I am pretty sure I have downloaded an incremental update with the bundled version of P7.

100%, once you buy in the bundle you are handed off to the developer, you appear as any of their other customers to them. You get all updates that any other customer would.
