The house, while large, was based on a 1910 farmhouse. Meaning tiny closets, tiny kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. Well, going from a 14x18 kitchen(which is not actually that big cause the dining room entry and breezeway to the garage take up opposite walls...not to mention the door to the basement) to a 25x30, purpose built room, has its advantages.... I now have counterspace for the gadgets(Ronco rotisserie, blender, microwave, food processor, shake machine) to all sit out. Instead of hiding stuff in the pantry while not being used. Next on my agenda...juicer. Already decided on a masticating. Will be juicing "greens" and Centrifugal style just ruin greens(was going to buy the Ham. Beach Big Mouth Pro). Anyway, trying to decide on a verticle style (as an example) http://www.amazon.com/Kuvings-NS-950-Silent-Upright-Masticating/dp/B0084392F4/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1365876244&sr=1-1&keywords=kuvings+ns-950 Linking it because it is BPA free... Or traditional style (yes I can afford this one...is it overkill? You bet...but man is it cool) http://www.amazon.com/Super-Angel-Stainless-Steel-Juicer-/dp/B000XPS3QU/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1365877293&sr=1-1&keywords=Super+Angel+Juicer+5500 Without getting into "brand warfare"...anybody had both style and can offer advice if there really is a reason to buy the 2nd version? And yes I know the 2nd version can do nut butters etc. My main concern is "just juice"... Been doing research on The Whole Kitchen Caboodle...will be replacing other stuff...but a juicer is not something I've had before.
