I find the Japanese culture so fascinating! Tamagotchi's are the other big craze in Japan and in an article I read a while back about them, it said that they were a huge hit with males 18-35 years of age.
It doesn't really shock me that men in Japan are into Hello Kitty, but I honestly don't see that being as big with men here in the states. I'm sure some men will don the Hello Kitty apparel, but for the most part I just don't see it catching on like it would in Japan.
