Need some help from the video experts here. I have a small TV that I want to use to navigate DVD-Audio menus. It only has a coaxial input jack on the back and I am not sure how to adapt it to the "RCA style" video output on the back of my Oppo 980H player.

Do I need a special adapter? I tried a plain ole F connector to RCA plug adapter from Radio Shack but the video is scrambled. I assume this is because there needs to be some conversion to get it in coax form?

Advice? Suggestion? Thanks.

When you say coax, do you mean the TV only has an antenna input? You can get RF modulators that will convert the red/white/yellow connections to RF and then you tune the TV to channel 3 or 4. You can get them at places like Wal-Mart or Radio Shack.

Got it up and running and listening to the hirez stereo layer now. Fabulous!

Brian, thanks for your help. Found a $16 RF modulator at Wal-Mart.
