So what does the "fs" stand for?
Fs is the standard abreviation for 'sample rate.' I'm not entirely sure where it comes from, but, well, there you have it.
Thanks Leo. I would say, "That makes sense." but well...you know.
Probably sample Frequency. I've always wondered what the "s" stood for.

Looks like Sampling Frequency was the old term.
sampling freq would be my guess, as that's what the 48khz defines.
