Dear Guys:

As a memory exercise, try to help me list the one season (or slightly longer) 1970's tv dramas:

Here's what I recall so far:

Ellery Queen
Lucas Tanner
Petrocelli
Hec Ramsey
Snoop Sisters
Delvechhio
Toma (predecessor to Baretta)
Logan's Run
Invisible Man
Gemini Man
Fantastic Journey
Kolchak: Night Stalker
Magician
Search
Man From Atlantis
Apple's Way
The Family Holvak
The New Perry Mason
Sword of Justice
Ghost Story
Tales of the Unexpected
How The West Was Won
A Man Called Sloan

What else is out there?

James

I like trying to see how many of these shows I can recall without looking at a tv guide.

Owen Marshall ran 3 years and Petrocelli ran 2 so I wouldn't exactly call them "One-Season" Shows.

I know, but it's still kinda shortish and slightly longer than just one (as the thread says), more than that I wouldn't include.

Then Came Bronson.

Technically, this is a one season series from 1969, but 11 of its 26 episodes spilled over into 1970. The pilot movie has been issued by the Warner Archive and is currently selling well there (#7 out of 400+ releases). Not sure about rights issues for the series, but if Warner has this, I wouldn't be surprised to see it among their early TV releases. Incidentally, Warner has released a bonafide one-season modern TV series through the Archive, "Eleventh Hour." See the link below; it may give some indication as to pricing for a season of televsion episodes.

So if some of the titles mentioned above are under Warner's ownership, then perhaps they'll eventually be released via the Archive.

Then Came Bronson isn't a big deal as TNT ran them all uncut back when they used to run old TV shows. What I would love to get from the Warner TV archvies is the original Eleventh Hour that ran for 2 seasons in the early sixties and was a companion show to Dr. Kildare. There's even a 2-part crossover with Kildare and the Eleventh Hour that I would love to get the other half of. With Marta Kristin and Tony Dow! The actual old Warner produced shows don't excite me all that much because frankly I don't think most of them are very good. But the MGM shows that they own through the Turner deal I find far more interesting. Eleventh Hour, The Lieutenant and Mr. Novak would all be great to get full releases for.

Project UFO ran for 2 half seasons. The other 2 shows were half hours.
