Hi all,
I picked up Once an Eagle last year and decided to watch it again from start to finished. I like the plot, especially the acting of Sam Elliot. Sam Elliot does and amazing job as Sam Damon the career soldier.
I am not a big supporter of war and violence, but it is important to understand the cause and effect of war to ensure we do not repeat the same mistakes. The mini-series was well done. The 1970s had some incredible mini-series, which is lost on today's tv. I also watch pearl the mini series on the weekend and hope to purchase the winds of war down the road.
