Is there any chance of a Blu ray release of the 1947 movie 'New Orleans', formerly on Kino DVD?
Yes, it's a flawed movie, with awful racial stereotypes, but still presents us with some wonderful footage of Billie Holiday (the greatest of all jazz vocalists) and the illustrious Louis Armstrong in their prime. It's worth preserving....

Any plans to release A Tree Grows in Brooklyn on Blu-Ray? I know Fox released this title as part of its Kazan at Fox Blu-Ray collection, but it never received an individual release like many of the other Kazan titles in the set.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is not currently with KL.

I would assume Kino now has the Melvin Si.on library due to releasing Scavenger Hunt which Mr. Lime inferenced are no longer with Fox? But would these include the non Fox Melvin Simon films like When A Stranger Calls which could use a bluray upgrade? And with the announcement of The Laughing Policeman can its 1973 stablemate The Seven Ups be far beHIND?
