Deciding what to put in there, and to make sure that everything is correct. Maybe someone could co-write it with me.
However, I have seen the whole series of 150 some odd episodes on Ebay for about $100 and I know of another place locally that I could get the entire run in like 2 sets for $100 each.Well... I strongly believe that ANYTHING at a local comic shop or eBAY is BOOTLEG UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE. I can usually tell from picking something up and looking at it if it is a bootleg, but you might not.
Also how about a warning at the top of the thread about BOOTLEGS and how to avoid them.I'll have Tony work it into the FAQ
I've heard some good things about Trigun but I see only one person has mentioned it on this thread.I saw the first 5 episodes of Trigun and I just simply thought it was nothing special. A wee bit too silly for me, but I may give it another try in the future if there is an "anime drought" (which there certainly isn't right now)
Escaflowne is an AWESOME Adventure twist with a squirt of Mecha thrown in. It's 26 episodes with absolutely NO filler, a relative shiteload of character development, and heroes that you want to succeed. There were a number of unforeseen twists in the plot, some awesome mech battles, and talk about a climax! Also, if you liked the music from Cowboy Bebop, Yoko Kanno also does the music for Esca (which is on par with her Bebop effort, and includes my favorite theme song ).
X... well... I don't know if you would like X. I think it is a love it/hate it kind of show (I have a friend that can't stand it).
Basically X an action title about two sects... the Dragons of Earth and Dragons of Heaven with a teenage boy named Kamui in the middle of it all. Depending on which side he chooses in the final battle in Tokyo, the world will either end or be saved. You really need to check out the first disc... it's definately my favorite CLAMP show thus far and I really like the way that the series is going. Try to check out the first disc! (Oh, and stay away from the movie... it was a good idea compressed into too short of a running time... this series is kind of like an extended extended edition of the film)
