Newbie needs guidance (1 Viewer)

I am thinking about playing around with hooking my computer up to my Mits via the RGB+HV input on the TV for surfing the web and the occasional video game.

At the moment I don't have a DVD drive and am pretty satisfied with my RP-91 for DVD playback. I just want to be able to use the TV as a monitor for fun.

What software/hardware/settings do I need to do this?

DScaler is a good place to start. It will let you fine-tune your resolutions/refresh rates to match your TV's native resolutions.
