New Worm hits the net. Update your Virus.dat files

    There is a new worm that has hit the net called the W32.Nimda.A@mm and it is a new mass-mailing worm that utilizes email to propagate itself. The threat arrives as readme.exe in an email. Here is a link to the defintion of this worm from Norton.
    So in addition to updating your virus.dat files do not open any .exe file that comes attached to your emails. I received two such files today.

    Also, patch your IIS servers if you run one!! IIS can be infected without receiving any email via a series of bogus port 80 calls.. and once it's got you (on a server) it is being shown to be a real bear about moving anywhere...
