New way to look at Online mapping..

    Admittedly, just a technology demonstration for the most part so far, but wow.

    A few things to notice:
    Insane fluidity compared to anything else I've ever seen.. but the apps features are what's killer... instant linkup with Flickr Geotagged images. Instant calibration with astronomy charts relative to any position globally for easy assessment of what's visible, based on the time you click on a location on the map.

    Realtime video and picture updates to locals.. I tried this tonight, was able to watch my house.. pretty bad-ass.


    It does require Silverlight (Mac/PC) or Moonlight (Linux/Unix) but wow. Pretty cool stuff.
