I missed that where you went from 373 to 363(I figured a double post typo...) I'd almost rather have the 363. It is enough for those speakers sure(SM are very efficient)...is it enough (feature wise) for you? But yeah..$75, get it...does it still have the remote? (if not there are remotes on Fleabay)

So I had a cpl quotes on fishing cables & they weren't nothing nice. Also had directv come out yesterday for some upgrades. Their new boxes don't have optical audio. So I have a question about something like the epson 3020e with wireless hd signal. Can someone please explain this in layman's terms?

Did Directv change to digital coax? Wireless HDMI is "just that". There is a sender you connect to your "source"(in this case the AVR)...and voila...it works.

Yes HDMI & digital coax. I was going to pick up the yamaha rx-v363 today, but now notice that the HDMI doesn't support audio! Doesn't that put me back to square one?

I thought by the X65 models, they all had HDMI audio...pass on that one. Look for Onkyo as well. Anything that is 60X and higher(604, 605, 674...804, 606, 707) SR vs NR(NR has networking) The first digit(6 or higher) always had HDMI audio starting at the X04 model year.

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/ele/3496469903.html I wouldn't pay the asking price. Worth looking into for the right price?

You "need" the remote for initial set-up. I'd try to find a complete on for $200-ish first. The AVR591 is on A4L for around $230. The 7/891(there might have been an 890) are $400-ish which puts them used at $300. $150 + $40 for a remote to me says pass. I doubt he goes less than $125.

Picked the avr 790 yesterday. I would of thought with this being a midrange avr it would have pre-outs. Haha guess that's what I get for thinking.

The "lowest priced" AVR (every year) with pre-outs was the Onkyo S/R70x. Denon didn't have pre-outs for another $400(basically $1000+). Yamaha and Elite don't have them till roughly $850. The 790 was a $600avr.

Well, you can still return(or did you buy it used?) the 790 and look for an Onkyo SR706/707 or NR708/709. Those 4 model numbers will, almost by themselves...with no help from their "bigger brothers", outnumber 10:1 what you'll find with pre-outs COMBINED on the used market. And you only need 1 pre-out for the subwoofer...no matter how many subs you have.
