The idea for this list was originally conceived by the polymath Acquarello, who maintained it for a period of years and then passed it on to the eagle-eyed Donald Brown, who--after several more years--has passed it on to me.
The list is confined to upcoming DVD releases of Classic, Foreign (i.e., non-English language films released on discs WITH English subtitles), Independent, Art, Experimental, and Silent Film from the US and abroad. The list is not exhaustive by any means, but attempts to highlight major releases that might otherwise escape notice.
