I'm looking to replace my 50-inch Panasonic Plasma in the living room with a larger TV. The viewing distance from where i sit to the TV is about 8.8 feet. Would a 60" TV be too big from that distance? To tell you the truth when i was looking at Flat Screen TV's at the electronic store the 55"TV didn't look all that much bigger then what i have now. They say that a TV shrinks in size over time and i think that's why it didn't look all that big.

When i bought the TV i have now i knew i should have gone bigger maybe up to 55". But now i think i'm going up to 60 because i probably would regret getting the 55" TV.

bigger is always better. I have never had a client saying to me: "I wish I would have gotten 1 size smaller".
