I'd like to get a quality bathrobe as a birthday present for a good female friend. But I'm out of my league here; I don't know anything about bathrobes.

I checked Epinions and I've Googled and haven't found any good reviews or general comments on how to shop for a bathrobe.

Any recommendations? Preferred material, style, brand? I'm looking in the $50 to $100 range.

Thanks!

DaveF,

Are you thinking big cozy terrycloth? Because I'm thinking big cozy terrycloth. There are 3 at my house and I keep one at the girlfriends.
Think $100.00...at least.
You will have to look for this. Regular department stores have little quality selection. Don't know what's available in your area, maybe you can check at Nordstom or Saks online. Another source is the giftshop at "4 Star" hotels.
About that "BIG" thing....they have to be roomy, if not when you stretch or reach for something you'll rip them 'cause you're sittin' on 'em don't ya know? :D

Definitely get one of the "silky" ones from Victorias Secret. Many points gains my friend.
