I am looking to add some shooting stars to my moving room ceiling. I have done some research on the web and located a few units that will work for my needs. I am only looking to install fiber optic for shooting star effects. Not a star ceiling or fireworks.

Does anyone have experience with the standard 1-64 port kits?

I have some quesitons regarding the programing. See below.

    1) How far apart to you run the fiber optic lines for lets say a 24" - 36" long shooting star run?

    2) What is a good length shooting star run that will give the better realistic look?

    3) Are the basic 1 - 64 port kits OK. They only run about $259.

    4) Is there a specific min. max diameter fiber optic cable I should stick to?

If you have any other information that would help my instalation, I would most appreciate it if you could share.

    thank you,

    John
